Introduction
Automatic1111 is a powerful interface for working with Stable Diffusion, but not every user wants to work in English.
If you prefer a Japanese interface, you can install the Japanese extension while using Automatic1111 on RunDiffusion and change the display language.
This guide explains how to launch Automatic1111 on RunDiffusion, install the Japanese extension, and switch the interface to Japanese.

Launch Automatic1111 on RunDiffusion
First, launch Automatic1111 from RunDiffusion.
Visit RunDiffusion. Log in or create an account.

After logging in, you are automatically redirected to the RunDiffusion platform (formerly the Runnit platform).

Click Opensource Applications in the left sidebar.

Click Automatic1111.

Select Launch Automatic1111.
If you only want to test installing the extension, you can start with a smaller server. Make sure the build is up to date before continuing.

Once Automatic1111 opens, continue to the next step.
Install the Japanese extension
Next, install the Japanese extension inside Automatic1111.

Click Extensions in the top menu.

Click the Install from URL tab.
Paste the following URL into the field labelled URL for extension's git repository.
https://github.com/L4Ph/stable-diffusion-webui-localization-ja_JP
Click Install.

Automatic1111 downloads and installs the Japanese localization extension.
When installation finishes, a message like the following appears.
Installed into /opt/rd/apps/stable-diffusion-webui/extensions/stable-diffusion-webui-localization-ja_jp. Use Installed Tab to restart

Restart Automatic1111 from Server Manager
After installing the extension, restart Automatic1111.
Click Server Manager in the left sidebar.

Click Restart App 'Auto1111'.

Automatic1111 restarts and reopens automatically. Reloading allows the new localization options to appear correctly.

Switch Automatic1111 to Japanese
Once Automatic1111 has restarted and reopened, switch the interface to Japanese.
Click Settings in the top menu.

Scroll down to find the Bilingual Localization tab.

Click Bilingual Localization once. Scroll up to display the localization dropdown. Select ja_JP from the dropdown.

Click Apply settings. Click Reload UI.

Automatic1111 reloads with the interface displayed in Japanese.
