MiniMax H3 Max Recast is now available on RunDiffusion. Use reference photos to replace people in an existing video while keeping the original motion, camera movement, and sound.

Recast an existing shot

Upload the clip in Source Video, then add one Reference Photo for each new person. You can supply up to four photos. By default, the photos replace the main people from left to right.

Prompt is optional. Use it to explain who each photo should replace or to specify what else should stay the same. Video Resolution offers 768P and 1080P, with 768P selected by default.

Keep the replacement brief specific

For a filmed property tour or a presentation scene, identify the person to replace and the visual details to preserve. Describe the mapping directly when a shot contains several people.

A starting instruction: Use the first reference photo to replace the presenter on the right. Keep the other person, the camera movement, the room finishes, and the original audio unchanged.

Example: recasting a studio presenter

The source studio-presenter clip is also shown in the HeyGen Video 1.0 update.
