NSFW Content Policy: Open Source Applications vs. the RunDiffusion Platform

RunDiffusion gives creators access to both open source AI applications and the RunDiffusion platform, formerly known as the Runnit Platform. These services support creative exploration, but all use must stay within clear legal, safety, and community guidelines.

This article explains how content rules apply across RunDiffusion, including open source applications such as Automatic1111, ComfyUI, ReForge, and FaceFusion, as well as platform features such as tools, LoRA management, saved assets, and Boards.

Open Source Applications

RunDiffusion provides access to open source applications such as Automatic1111, ComfyUI, ReForge, and FaceFusion. These community-driven tools can support a wide range of artistic workflows, including stylized, historical, or classical depictions of the human form.

However, content created with these applications must still follow RunDiffusion’s platform-wide standards.

Open source application rules:

  • Artistic expression is allowed when it remains legal, respectful, and within policy.
  • Pornographic, fetish, or sexually suggestive content is not allowed.
  • Content involving minors in adult, sexualized, or suggestive contexts is not allowed.
  • Non-consensual, violent, abusive, or exploitative themes are not allowed.
  • Illegal activity of any kind is not allowed.
  • FaceFusion includes built-in NSFW filtering.
  • Content generated in open source applications must still comply with RunDiffusion’s broader content policies.

RunDiffusion Platform Services

The RunDiffusion platform includes persistent and managed features such as your library, model management, LoRA workflows, tools, saved assets, and Boards. Because these areas may involve uploaded, stored, reused, or shared content, they are governed by stricter enforcement.

RunDiffusion platform rules:

  • Artistic expression may be allowed in limited cases, such as classical or stylized work, but some content may still be blocked.
  • Sexually explicit, fetish, or suggestive material is not allowed.
  • Depictions of minors in adult, sexualized, or suggestive scenarios are not allowed.
  • Non-consensual, violent, abusive, or exploitative content is not allowed.
  • Illegal activity of any kind is not allowed.
  • Automatic content safety systems may detect and block NSFW or restricted images.
  • Uploaded, saved, or managed content must fully comply with RunDiffusion’s content rules.

Universal Restrictions Across RunDiffusion

Some content is prohibited everywhere on RunDiffusion. These restrictions apply to open source applications, platform tools, uploaded content, saved content, Boards, model management, and any other RunDiffusion service.

Universally prohibited content includes:

  • Pornographic or sexually explicit material.
  • Fetish or sexually suggestive imagery.
  • Depictions of minors in adult, sexualized, or suggestive contexts.
  • Non-consensual, violent, abusive, or exploitative themes.
  • Promotion, facilitation, or glorification of illegal activity.
  • Use of RunDiffusion for any criminal, harmful, or prohibited purpose.

When in Doubt, Ask

If you are unsure whether your content is allowed, ask before creating, uploading, saving, or sharing it. RunDiffusion supports bold and original creative work, but that work must remain legal, respectful, and safe for the broader community.

The goal is simple: help creators explore powerful AI workflows while maintaining clear boundaries for everyone using RunDiffusion.
